MEET ANNALISE

Sometimes we can’t see the wood for the trees. We get bogged down in old habits or distorted perceptions of ourselves and others. These habits can be very counter-productive, as it prevents us from living the life we desire and deserve.

I will work with you to identify, set, and achieve your goals. My coaching calls on the abundant research and positive psychology theories focusing on the science of happiness, life balance, and confidence-building. I have over 17 years coaching experience, over 450 hours of coach-specific training. I am undertaking a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD at Auckland University of Technology), where I research Positive Psychology and Wellbeing. I hold a Master of Science (Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, MAPPCP) from the University of East London.

Coaching is a relatively new industry with a voluntary regulatory system. The International Coach Federation (ICF) is the most significant regulatory body currently available to coaches. I am one of 38 ICF Professional Certified Coaches (PCC) in New Zealand which I feel shows my commitment to ethical and evidence based practice.

Before moving into coaching, I worked extensively in central and local Government (in property, community housing, and contract management) and, self-employed, I worked in specialty tender and bid creation and management.

People have asked me why I left my previous career to become a coach, and it is because I adore it. I LOVE IT! Working with people in a one-to-one and small group setting to help them live the life they desire and deserve is an absolute privilege.

My professional and personal vision is:

“To support individuals to live authentic, flourishing, happy and impactful lives”

It’s about providing a safe place for people to come and explore themselves genuinely and enabling them to live the life they want to live. It’s about allowing people the time and place to find out what they love, what makes them happy, what makes them joy-filled – and finding ways of getting that into their lives. I enjoy helping people find practical ways to make changes. The needed changes are not necessarily massive, and that is what’s so fantastic about it! It’s about re-prioritising. It’s like taking your sunglasses off and seeing the world differently.

Don’t wait any longer. Start forging your own path today!
